1.A scenario for an unattended install. Required: the automated

install. Of x computers and x laptops.

Optional: All computers must be members of domain CORP -

Installation of applications.

Proposed solution: They start the installation of workstation with

some funny file(I can't

remember the name) which immediately makes the required not

being met.

They also had one where X wants to upgrade her 386 DX33 to

NT 4.0. They add a lot of

useless info - You cant' do this upgrade. The min. requirement is

486.

11.You are the administrator of a WinNT domain and you want to

create a system policy to define the desktop options for all

WinNT users in your domain.

A: Using System Policy Editor, create a system policy for all the

Single FAT partition on each hard disk. Paging file in boot

partition etc.

Required: Optimum speed of access to local files.

Optional: Faster speed of access to paging file + Optimize

computers' network performance.

Proposed solution: (on my exam) Configure all hard disks as a

volume set. Keep them FAT

partitions. Keep the paging file on the boot partition. Put the

most used protocol at the top

of the binding list.

A: This does not meet the required as volume sets are very slow.

Striping is much faster.

Keeping the paging file on the boot partition slows access. Also

using FAT for anything
